netDMS© Sign Controller
The netDMS© Sign Controller is a microprocessor-based device for controlling and monitoring overhead and portable traffic information signs and general-purpose text-only signs. Fiber-optic enhanced reflective disk, reflective disk and LED type Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) are supported as well as Blank Out Signs, Changeable Message Signs, Lane Control Signs (LCS) and Gates. The netDMS© Controller replaces 3801 sign controllers in existing signs and can enhance the operation of 3101/LCMM based signs.
The Sign Controller is fully compatible with the legacy TS3000 Protocol and can optionally be provided with NTCIP compliant protocol compatibility. The controller supports TS3101, 3201, 3202 and LCMM drivers and provides detailed lamp and disk reports (disk reports are not available with the TS3101 Controller).
The netDMS© Sign Controller manages local manual input (MIP) via a notebook computer or
Keypad/LCD Display resident on the Controller. The MIP controls default actions for all hardware, provides diagnostic information for system troubleshooting and allows local display of messages on the sign.
